The whole enchilada

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got my Greenworks Tools 24V Torquedrive weed trimmer and edger recently. First of all, it was really easy to set up out of the very protective box. The battery charger is small profile like the battery pack is --- which is really good to see, rather than the bulky charger/battery packs of the past. Charged up really good and I am ready to go. The whole unit is very light, so my arms will last longer when edging. So I went out and did some edging. The Greenworks trimmer is really quiet unlike my old trimmer with gas. No fumes with this trimmer too. I used to get oil on my pant leg and shirt from the muffler with my old trimmer. No oil on the pants/shirt with this,--- great. The large handle on the Greenworks trimmer is really nice for control. The power is great with the Greenworks trimmer, and 24V Torque power you can really feel. The battery can be used with their other 24V product too, which is nice. I like the fact that with this unit-- it turns on and off with no idling. The trimming string feeds smooth and with no hang ups. Really nice safety foot guard so that you do not strike your foot with the string. Has a guard for going around plants which is a nice feature. I went trimming for a straight 30 minutes and it held up great overall. I recommend this trimmer for the average homeowner. Alot of great stuff in one box, and great for the environment in being a battery charged trimmer. Thank you Greenworks for the smooth 24V Torquedrive trimmer/edger.

An Excellent Cordless Trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No muss and no fuss with this trimmer, it makes yard work easy while being environmentalIy friendly. I used to have a gas powered trimmer and it was always a hassle dealing with the gas, oil mixture and obstinate starting and this battery powered unit eliminated all that grief. The four amp hour battery is plenty enough power to do my front and back yards, about 30-40 minutes, with most of the battery charge left over. Also need to add that the battery pack itself has a convenient power meter to give you state of charge, an added plus. The trimmer head has ample power to cut through grass and heavy weeds with no problem. Just a great trimmer, never going back to gas!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a trimmer that could be used by everyone in our household, from our teenage daughters to the adults. The telescoping shaft allows each of us to use it comfortably, from my 5'3" daughter to my 6'1" husband! Weight of the machine is always a concern for us & this one is spot on. The cushioned grip was a great surprise! It definitely added to the comfort of doing a not so fun job. Thrilled to know that we can use one tool now to do both trimming & edging. We found this trimmer to be powerful enough to cut through some of our thicker stalked weeds like they were butter. Great trimmer & edger!

Impressive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TORQDRIVE™ String Trimmer w/ 4.0 Ah Battery works amazingly. My backyard needed trimming on the edges and this trimmer works perfectly. It's light-weight with a 4hour battery so that you don't have to change batteries frequently. Also, it has required handles for support and super easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trimmer is lightweight and easy to use. The instructions were easy to understand, and the trimmer was easy to put together. The one disadvantage is the cost of purchasing additional batteries. If you have a larger yard, the one battery will need to be recharged to finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, so good! I have a big yard and needed a trimmer to help tackle some of the areas where a mower wasn't great. I do need to buy a second battery. I don't to wait for it to charge but I do have a large yard. With a smaller yard you may not need to do that. It was able to get everything done that I needed. It was a clear cut. I did read the reviews on the feed after playing with it for a little bit. It worked after I did it right! There are directions if help was needed. Was quick to get up and working!
