Battery issue

Battery went out so quickly. Call customer service since product is warranty they ship new battery out. Like many battery products often battery is the issue. I like the products here and will buy different tools. I give 3 stars because the product is really new purchase but customer service is ok

The overall battery life is dependent on many factors such as where they have been stored, charged, and handled. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life. This helps enhance the life of the battery. Once it is fully charged, the next charge will return to standard charging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Greenworks 24V Cordless 13" TORQDRIVE String Trimmer with 4.0 AH battery is the latest edition to our yard work tools. The manual to assemble was easy to follow so it only took about 5 minutes. Once started, I was pleasantly surprised at the strength to cut thru heavy weeds. The telescoping shift was new to me but a brilliant design that allows for different members in the household to use with easy adjustment.

So far the battery life is good. It has only had to be charged once and my husband his used it a few hours around the property.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this 24V cordless 12" Torqdrive™ String Trimmer by Greenworks last month, and it has exceeded my expectations. The 2.0 AH battery was included, and after letting it charge, the string trimmer was able to take care of the weeds around the perimeter of both our back, front, and side yards, as well as a bunch of medium sized vines that were climbing up the wooden sections of our entryway. It trimmed very smoothly, and there were no snags, as I had been used to with the last trimmer I had purchased from a different brand. I am very happy with this one, and it is lightweight enough for me to use it, which is a big plus.
