Great all around electric mower

Finally a GREAT ELEC LAWN MOWER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel very good about this purchase. Easy getting it out of the box. Fast setting up. Instructions “pamphlets” needed to be together, and they were too small. Basically they need to explain the setting up process Better. Started right up and it had plenty of power. My yard is somewhat small, The battery usage was exceptional, only one indicator light was used out of 4. The cut was very good. The Self-Propelled was very good especially the controls on the handle. I always thought I was a gasoline man, this Electric mower certainly held up to the gas engines. Mower was very quiet. My biggest Complaint is the way you backup. The first few times the rear wheels would lockup, only for a brief second. So I learned just to briefly pause for a second, then it rolled back effortlessly. My first cut, I chose to use the bagger option. I couldn’t figure out why the bag wasn’t filling. When I finished I removed the bag and found the plastic block for Mulcing was blocking the opening into the bag. Again I blame this on the poor instructions. All in all I REALLY LIKE this mower!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

It's good overall for a small yard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It cuts really good but the tires do slip alot. Also, it doesn't cut even close to an acre on one charge as advertised. I have about an acre and I could only cut about a third with one charge.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet, Powerful
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tires slipping, can be caused by a combination of factors, including tire condition, ground conditions, and mowing technique. With practice, you can get a feel for how your mower behaves on different terrains and learn to adjust your mowing technique accordingly.
We are sorry to hear you are not happy with the runtime you are getting with the battery included. As we are not sure of the condition of your lawn, we are not exactly sure why the battery did not meet your expectations. The maximum runtime often applies to a relatively flat, open yard. Slopes and obstacles require more power, and users can expect running time to be less, if this is the case. Runtime measurements are also related to the condition of the grass and if it is well-maintained. Tall, thick grass requires more power, and you must mow it slower, consuming added runtime. Here are a few tips to ensure the max runtime is achieved. Ensure you charge the battery fully before each use, maintain the battery properly by cleaning terminals, avoid extreme temperatures during storage. Consider buying a second battery for larger lawns, this mower can be used with Greenworks 80v battery, for optimal runtime we would recommended to use all provided batteries. Mow in a straight line and choose a mower with a powerful battery suitable for your lawn size. If the grass has been left to exceed four inches, we advise that you raise the cutting height and cut no more than one-third of the length of grass at a time, wait a couple of days and do another one-third, cut when grass is dry and walk at steady pace to allow the blade to work more efficiently.
