Amazing features and value for money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perhaps the most compelling reason to choose the Greenworks 25-Inch 80V mower is the exceptional value it offers. Greenworks matches or exceeds these features at a significantly more affordable price point. You get dual blades, self-propulsion, a wider cut, superior battery technology, and durable construction—often for hundreds less.

Amazing initial impression 24 hours in.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had my new 80v 25" mower for 24 hours but so far I am impressed. Easy to unpack, assemble and get mowing. The deck is so light and easy to handle. Won't be trenching my yard if I have to mow when it is damp. The electric motor is very quiet. I was worried about the speed of the self-propel system after owning a big gas powered mower with variable speed. Turns out I was worried for nothing because when I set the self-propel to the fastest setting and the thing took off! Battery charging was really fast. Nice job Greenworks!

Best Mower I have ever owned
on October 24, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 25 inch dual blade Greenworks lawnmower a couple weeks ago and have cut the lawn twice. This is without a doubt the best lawnmower I have owned and I just celebrated my 75th birthday. It cuts the lawn evenly , no high spots etc. I can follow the wheel 'lines' and don't have to over lap like past mowers. This mower has a great feature that the cutting area is wider than the track of the wheels, which is perfect. The Greenworks designers and engineers got this one right !! I highly recommend this mower.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

80V Self propelled no longer works

Self propel feature no longer working. Mower only has
Approximately 10 uses. I don’t believe the self propel motor is getting a voltage. When will greenworks have pcb replacement available? A new mower is being sent but i have very low confidence it will last without breakdown.
Parts need to be made available gor this to be a quality purchase. Quality control on this design is also to be questioned.

Poor cutting quality.

I want to love this mower but the cut quality is poor, even at the highest setting, flat ground,etc.. I took it to an authorized service center and they agreed that the cut quality was poor but the blades were balanced, sharp, etc so there was nothing technically wrong. Not sure what to do as I am not sure it is just my mower or if it is all mowers of this type.
Pros: Easy to Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello ppinrich.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear of this experience. When the lawn is being cut uneven, this can indicate a few different things. The first being that the lawn itself is rough or uneven. However, if this is not the case then it is possible that the grass is too tall, or the cutting height is set too low for the type of grass. Try raising the cutting height and reduce walking speed to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months. We hope these suggestion provide a more enjoyable user experience. Should you have any questions or warranty needs, contact us through Live Chat on Greenworks Tools website (www.greenworkstools.com) or 1-855-345-3934. We would like the opportunity to speak with you to see if we can find a solution.

While having the power, the "engineering team" has NO concept of a true "high lift" blade. Thusly making the machine a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Response from greenworkstools.comBy GreenworksSeptember 18, 2024
Hello Disenchanted.
Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. Stock mower blades perform well on dry, shorter grasses, and are optimized for efficiency, while high lift blades work better in extreme conditions but have a small effect on the runtime. The high-lift blade has deeper curves on the ends, which increase suction to circulate and expel the clippings. The higher airflow also helps prevent clogging.
When to use high lift lawn mower blades:
• When you are cutting tall grass (Grass over 3" tall)
• When you are cutting flimsy grass such as turf-type tall fescue
When not to use high lift lawn mower blades:
• In sandy soil conditions
It sounds like you will need to contact us directly some further information would be required to be better assist. Please start a Live chat on www.greenworkstools.com or call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). We look forward to helping you better.
