excellent self-propelled lawn mower

I've been using this mower for two or three seasons, can't recall. Delighted with the performance. It takes me 1.5 hours to mow our current lawn. There is a hilly area, and I can handle it fine. The mower is not super light, and right before the weight where it'd be called "heavy". Bear in mind, I am fine pushing my own lawn mower, so if an auto-drive feature is critical, this is not a mower for you. I look forward to Greenworks implementing a drive feature.
The key feature here is the 80 volt battery, because I have been able to use the battery with a snow thrower and now with a backpack blower. This was a critical, and risky, choice in this regard, because I had no idea how this would work for me. Upon reflection, there is really nothing like powering these three tools with one energy source and storing them, compared to doing the same with internal combustion engine tools. After a number of seasons with both the mower and the thrower, I was confident enough to buy the backpack blower and I am not disappointed. All tools are more than adequate for a homeowner who has to run these things only occasionally, and doesn't want to do it all day, and is willing to sacrifice a *bit* of performance *in comparison to the monster internal combustion engine tools out there* so that I can make noticeably less noise, markedly less pollution, get way more convenience in storage and maintenance. 80 volt is critical to make this leap. I used a 40 volt Greenworks mower for a while, and it was great, so I upgraded. But for a thrower or blower, I can tell that the 80 volt is just the entry level for power. Looking forward to even more powerful Greenworks products!

If it performs later on like it has the first two times I will be very pleased. It could be the best mower I have bought and I have had plenty over the years. It started right off. So far it is better than I expected. Just hope it continues that way.

No gas cans!

Love the 80v mower and love not having to take gas tank to gas station and then having gas fumes in my car for a day or two. Easy to operate and well made. When grass is not too tall it runs in save energy mode which sometimes leads to some grass blades not cutting. I would like a choice of speed levels or auto as it stands now.

Best purchase ever

I bought this 5 months ago and wondered why I took so long. I do not have a large yard so this made perfect sense.
The mower has more than enough power and cuts grass easily. The best part, no fuel to store and it starts up every time without yanking my arm off. Awesome machine!!

Good Run Time

My neighbor has this lawn mower and let me borrow it for a test run a few days ago. I like how easy it starts up and runs. I have a little over a quarter acre sized yard. This mower was more than up to the task as it breezed through the cutting of my yard with power to spare. I would more than reccoment this product to anyone who is ready to make the switch from gas to battery power.
