Greenworks Hits The Mark

I've owned my Greenworks mower for over 8 months now. It passed the summer lawn mowing test with flying colors. For lower to medium high grass it cuts through it with no problem. When the grass gets a bit high, the electric motor automatically speeds up for extra power.
The Greenwork handle height is adjustable making the mower "relatively" easy to push through your lawn. The Greenworks mower runs on an 80 volt battery, so theres no irritating carburetor issues that you get with gas equipment. Theres no need store gasoline or do messy oil changes. Its virtually maintenance free.
My favorite feature is the extra quiet operation. It allows me to simply put my Bose headphones on and cut the grass. No mess, no stress.
Greenworks gets 5 stars from me.

Puts the thrill into mowing

No noise. No vibration. No exhaust. Just now. The models are changing so rapidly now. More choices. More variations. My 80v model already has different wheel sizes. Different paint/color scheme. Even got a new lawn service so my grass would be thicker, greener and faster growing.......so I could mow more often!

Bought this mower because i was so impressed with the chainsaw...Two years in, mowing two yards weekly during the growing season, and it hasn't skipped a beat. I have 2 2ah batteries that take 30 min to charge, and one usually gets the job done on a 1/3 acre lot if it's not too tall. Very quiet, and zero maintenance except wiping it down, and sharpening the blade once a month or so...

It is easy to start and light enough to push w/o using self propelled mode except on 45 degree angle hills. I'm on 1/3rd acre and can mow it w/o recharging which takes a bit more than 30 minutes. Best mower I have ever owned and the constant tune ups for gas mowers are in the wind!

No compromise replacement to an 4.5 HP ICE Mower

I've had the pleasure of using this mower 3 times in our yard (normal city yard) and once in a large yard and I am VERY happy with it. It replaced our old 4.5 HP mower and so far there have been 0 compromises. My favorite part is the push button start, way better than pulling a cord hoping it starts. Its also very quite which makes mowing the yard much more enjoyable.
The variable speed makes it only mow as hard as it needs to, and the 4 Amp battery seems to have a run time of at least 1 hour.
Its light enough to pickup my self (makes it easy to transport) and its easy to get it to rest upright so it takes less space in the garage.
Thus far I've used mulch tall grass without the bag and it preformed better than our old mower. Also used it last weekend with the bag to mulch heavy leaves and it ate them up without any issue.
This mower has made me realize there is very little use for internal combustion engines!!

Finally! A REAL lawnmower that's battery powered

I've run this for about two months. I charge it from my solar panels. It varies how long it runs but it allows me to mow my whole yard, which is more barely tamed field than grass. When the going gets tough it ramps up the power. It runs quiet enough I don't need ear plugs that i would use with my other power equipment. I like it, solid quality, battery has been charging reliably, the self-propel assist is very nice, plenty of variable speed. I'm picky, but I like this alot.

I have been meaning to give feedback on your products for some time now. I have an 80V mower, weed wacker and blower and have used these weekly... All far exceeded my expectations. I mow 10 townhome yards (1hour 20 minutes of running time) in the neighborhood and typically on 1 battery, no more than 2 if grass is long... Very impressed with the quality of these products (well built), and so much easier than worrying about gas and oil... I am no tree hugger and if these products didn't work, I would go back to gas in a second. Two years later, everything works as it should. I love to show off these products to the neighbors who are all impressed as well... only 30 minutes to recharge a battery and I estimate about 30 to 50 cents to recharge. Do not hesitate, buy it.

My husband & I are both retired but still mow our own yard, etc. We had previously bought a Green Works leaf blower, then a Green Works snowblower & liked both. Our old lawnmower was dying so we got a Green Works self-propelled mower. We LOVE IT! It is so easy to use, no gas/oil, etc. lightweight & easy to maneuver and does a great job of cutting the grass. Doing the lawn seems so much easier now!
