This is our first electric mower, I didn't want something with a cord. It's been a pleasant surprise so far and my only issue is that is not as efficient at picking up leaves. The white clipping bag needs to be a different color, it's already turning green.
Love it, Love it, Love it. Living in California, gas powered mowers will be a thing of the past. And since my gas mower needed repairs, I thought a battery power would be the way to go. I am 73 years old and still mow my yard but having a self propelled will be a plus when I need it. The mower does everything that the gas does and is a lot quieter.
I have had my greenworks machine almost 2 years now. #1 thing I need to say is that I love not having to deal with a gas machine. I do have a small yard and it works like a champ. I have only 2 small gripes about my machine. First is the battery placement. I have pretty strong and thin hands but I have a hard time pulling it out. Second is the blade could be a bit stronger. The battery works great for me. I get more than two mows per charge. And use the mulching feature and it does a nice job. The greatest thing is you can mow day or night and not disturb the neighbors. Lights would be good but not necessary.
The mower is as powerful as my gasoline mower. The Self-Propelled feature allows you regulate the speed. I must almost run to keep up with the mower at its maximum speed. Great "Green" purchase
BEST DANG LAWN MOWER THAT I HAVE EVER PURCHASED!!! It is so light weight that I don't need the self-propel 3/4 of the time (and I have a very hilly yard). There is not 1 thing that I can complain about after using this mower for one full season!!
I used this mower for the first time last Saturday. I have about 1/2 acre of very undulating lawn to mow. This lawn was long having been mowed about 6 weeks ago. The Pro80 21 inch powered through it. Better than the last gasoline mower I used.
