Love It

I really like my new Greenworks Pro 80v 21” mower. I live on a fairly steep hillside with many obstacles to mow around. The old 190cc mower couldn’t even self-propel up the paved driveway. The Pro 80v has no problem, and it is so much lighter that working around the obstacles is a breeze. I can’t comment on the battery life because it hasn’t run out, covering an area that used to take 1.5 tanks of gas with the 190cc. I am very happy with it the decision to go Greenworks.

Poor Battery Life

The specifications of battery lasting 60 minutes is false. I am lucky to get 15 minutes. I am very disappointed and would not recommend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When used with both batteries the runtime is up to 60 minutes depending on the load and condition of your lawn while in use (speed, terrain, unit height, grass height, and density). Please be aware that the more power being used from the lawn mower (i.e. lawn mower speed, terrain, grass height, density, etc.), the faster the battery charge will drain. My introduction to my Greenworks mower was not a good experience. The mower blade was too long for the mower and it would not mow. So you asked me to contact your local representative and he subsequently filled out the paperwork and sent it to Greenworks.
Greenworks warranty and assistance worked as you sent me a new mower. The mower that I now have works well. Thank you.

I cut over 2/3 of my hilly and .7 acre yard with this on one battery charge— the self propel was great going up hills — the battery charged up in a hour as stated. I finished it all! Love that it gets into those little spots my tractor has trouble with. It’s light and easy to use, So far, great!!!

The good.
- Impressed with the battery life, nearly an hour on a charge!’
~ Mulches better than my old gas mower.
- Lightweight, easy to handle and maneuver.
The not as good:
- time delay to engage or disengage the drive takes some getting used to.
- leaves stray blades of grass uncut and free standing.
-,Mower speed either too fast or too slow, difficult to find the sweet spot.
Overall, pretty satisfied so far.
