Cutting Grass easily

Mower is remarkable. I am cutting around fruit trees on slope and roads around 13 acres. This tool is able to cut easily 12 inch tall grass as I push around. I may have preferred the motor driven drive but getting more exercise this way. In future a step up in construction to more stable construction as it could be sturdier as I mow in fields. It is a work horse but a little flimsy as I push around. If more stout it would be easier to push also.

Never buying gas again

We purchased this lawnmower because I am lazy and didn't want to deal with old gas or changing oil. So happy we went electric! Love the folding to save space in our garage and how quietly it operates. When our neighbors mow their lawns now it seems so loud. I can be outside playing with my daughter as dad mows without feeling assaulted by sound. I was most concerned about the mower losing power as the battery wound down. This mower just keeps going until it quits! Our lawn is larger (1/3acre) so we have a spare battery. If we don't use self propel just one battery does the trick but if I use the self propel the last 20min are on the 2nd battery. LOVE this mower and I recommend it to everyone.

Perfect for mid-size lawn!

I can't believe I am saying it, but I cant wait for spring to get my lawn mower out again! I have a mid-size lawn and this mower is great. The cut is solid, the battery life is strong, and not having to purchase gas and check the oil makes me smile! I now own the 80 volt mower, backpack blower, and the chainsaw, and I don't see my transition to Greenworks stopping anytime soon.

Electrification of yard equipment solution!!

I am in love with the 80v line of equipment. This lawn mower is great. It has a nice sized deck to cover a solid path without being silly large. The 4 Ah battery is typically enough to cut my lawn. I have about a 1/4 acre of grass to mow.
This is light weight and my 3 year old can push it around, although I do not let him mow yet. The start process is a breeze. It came in super handy after I had surgery. I have used the lawn mower and other 80v tools and the batteries are still performing as well as they did the first use.
The easy at folding the handle flush with the mower and the built in stand makes storage a breeze in the garage. There never seems to be enough space, so even tool that tucks away like this is bonus. This storage feature is also nice in the winter, I carry it to the basement to make room for snow removal gear (80v GreenWorks snow thrower). It tucks away nicely in the storage area in the basement, and it is light enough to carry by myself to the basement.
I love this line of tools. GreenWorks has really gone well beyond my expectations. To top it all off, as an electric lawn mower it is more energy efficient than its gas counterparts (actual energy use). so it saves on the bills. Not having to run to get gas, or put stablizer in the fuel for the winter, etc is another level of nice that does not show up in a sticker price.

For best storage practice the lawn mower should be stored somewhere dry and protected from the elements, such as a garage or shed. If you have no other choice but to store it outside, keep it elevated above the ground and covered with a durable tarp.
When the battery will not be in use, store it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. Store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we recommend charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life.

I love this mower

I bought this mower so I could mow my own lawn without having to deal with gasoline and difficulties in getting it started. This lawn mower has been a dream to use and the battery lasts long enough to mow my front and backyard. I couldn't be happier with it. And as a result I ended up purchasing the edger, leaf blower and snow shovel. I gave one to my son for his birthday after he moved to a new house.
