Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the run time of this battery when used in this blower.
This machine must have two batteries to run. Users must use (2) fully charged Greenworks 24V battery packs. Do not use battery packs other than Greenworks 24V. Using only one battery pack will not start the machine. Ensure both batteries are charged 100%. If each battery has a different charge state, the run-time of the machine is subject to the lowest powered battery (For example: one battery is charged 100%, and the other is charged 50%, the unit will only run until the 50% battery is depleted). When using (2) batteries with different amp hours (Ah), the machine will run until the lower (Ah) battery is depleted.
When used on High-speed the unit will provide up to 15 minutes runtime. To extend your run time, try using the blower setting on a lower speed when high speed is not a requirement, as blowers are considered a high-power draw application which means they do tend to drain the battery quite rapidly in comparison to some other tools. Alternatively additional batteries can be purchased to extend the run time. This unit is compatible with all Greenworks 24v batteries; please keep in mind, the higher the ampere-hour (AH) rating is, the longer the run time will be.
