This edger/trimmer has been the best purchase I have made this year! Easy to use, I love the features and the battery life is excellent. So worth the buy and recommendation is easy, mic drop!

Battery died in about 15 minutes first use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Giving this two stars because I don’t really know yet the blower may be fine, but the battery stinks.The first time I use this, it was 78° outside. I was using it for leaf blowing. The battery died right away, giving a temperature error message (red light). Does not make sense to me. I had to let it cool down for over an hour before I could recharge it. Haven’t had the heart to go out there and see how long it lasts today. Feel like this battery is crap. Is this a known issue and can I get a New battery?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Based on what you described, the red temperature indicator you encountered is typically tied to the battery’s built-in protection system. Lithium-ion batteries are designed to temporarily shut down if they become too warm (or too cold) during use in order to prevent damage, and this can result in shorter initial runtime or the need to let the battery rest before charging again.
There are a few things that may help improve performance moving forward. Ensuring the battery is fully charged and properly seated before use is important, and allowing it to cool to room temperature between heavy use and charging cycles can make a difference. If the battery continues to overheat quickly or only provides very limited runtime after a few cycles, our succrss team can assist with further troubleshooting. 80v trimmer and blower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Power on the blower and trimmer is 10 percent better than its gas equivalent 25cc very happy with ease of use and the fact that is instant power is awesome .long gone or the days of frustration with pull starta,cleaning clogged carburetor and the mess of oil and gas .

Great power but line feed sucks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good power and run time. 5 stars there. Line feed is 1 star. Line drops to 2 inches without feeding. Absolutely horrible. I'd buy something else after experiencing it.

Line feeding issues like you described are often related to spool setup or line advancement technique. This model uses an automatic/bump feed system, and for best results:
1. Make sure the spool is properly installed and the line is evenly wound (not crossed or too tight).
2. While trimming, lightly “bump” the head on the ground while the unit is running at full speed to advance the line.
3. Avoid letting the line get too short before feeding, as very short ends can sometimes prevent proper advancement.
4. Check that the correct line diameter is being used, as oversized or undersized line can affect feeding performance.
If the line is consistently not advancing even with proper use, the spool or feed mechanism may need inspection or replacement.
