A great wok

A great take on the wok, this enameled cast iron piece does a great job with being able to use the entire piece to cook the perfect stir fry. You can sear, braise, steam and fry within this pan, becoming a very versatile piece. You can use the grill attachment to keep food warm while you’re still cooking in the wok. The enameled cast iron does a phenomenal job of cooking everything, while also being able to clean easily and not having to season the wok.

Wok Yes But Much More

I purchased this to use as a wok but I find myself using it for everything. I fry french fries in it, pan fry burgers and steaks and have used it for fish stew. It does everything I love the black matte finish - creates a perfect cooking surface. It actually sits on my stove day in and day out, that's how much we use it.

Asian Style Cooking Wok, Perfect Pan!

A Staub 6qt. wok are perfect size pan for larger amount cooking. It is so versatile, used as a Asian style cooking wok, a stir fry pan to cook meat, mixed vegetables and even fried rice. The fact that it has flatter bottom for maximize heat contact for all stove top surfaces. Requires no seasoning cast iron pot, black matte enamel inside and cooking surface creates a culinary advantage.

no need to season

This wok style dutch oven does not need to be seasoned. The matte interior aid in a quick release of food and as you use this pot is will season on its own. the cooking rack is perfect for holding prepared food. I have used this pan on the open gas grill, works really works well.

I make stir-frys and ramen dishes on the regular and use this pan for those dishes and others. It is particulary suited to stir-frys due to the cast iron and the shape of the pan. The bottom conducts the heat and the stream rises up the sides, so when you are stir-frying, you are moving the food constantly around the pan, from the bottom to the sides. Food cooks quickly and evenly. This pan is versatile and can be used for other dishes as well; only limited by your own imagination.

This pan/wok can do so much, not just rice and veggies. Place shrimp or scallops on the grill while cooking your rice or pasta or sear or brown meats in this pan. I have also steamed mussels in this pan in a wine and garlic sauce or spaghetti and meat sauce. Endless possibilities! Glass lid so you can monitor your food.
