Does not hold vacuum. Pointless and expensive.

I really really thought these would be of high quality after owning many other Zwilling products but alas, they are not. They aren't any better than standard containers. Actually, they may be worse. I have tried and tried to use these but they just don't hold air. I'm extremely careful and mostly just use them with whole coffee beans. I keep the rubber seals clean, the inside lip of the container clean and the area where the valve is clean. After a day or two - no vacuum, I think the weak point is the valve itself. It's just pliable rubber and think it just gets stretched out. Very disappointed considering how much they cost. It's an investment. Unfortunately, not a wise one. Zwilling, you disappointed me. Avoid these.

We recommend wiping down the Silicone gasket by separating the silicone gasket from the Frame and wiping down the Silicone release valve inside and out and the Container rim before trying to seal your foods.
