Strong laptop with strong hardware, but it seems certain parts are not compatible, for example, there are issues with compatibility between internal (CPU) graphic card and NVDA graphic card. Given that I bought this laptop because I wanted to connect 3 or 4 external monitors to my laptop, the fact that it cannot even handle 3 monitors properly is very disappointing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Bennie, Thank you for sharing your feedback and we apologize for the issues you've encountered with ThinkPad P16 Gen 2. The ThinkPad P16's NVIDIA card and the system's integrated graphics may appear incompatible due to incorrect driver versions, incorrect BIOS or operating system settings, or software conflicts. To resolve this, first update the NVIDIA driver, check the BIOS/UEFI for NVIDIA settings to ensure the card is enabled and not set to integrated graphics only, and confirm there are no pending Windows/OS updates. If the issue persists after following these steps, we recommend reaching out to our tech support team at 1-855-253-6686. We're committed to ensuring your satisfaction and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter. Regards, Thomas, Lenovo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a ThinkPad user since 2014, and when it finally came time to replace my old one, there was never a question—I went straight back to Lenovo. My previous ThinkPad lasted me over a decade of daily use without ever letting me down, and this new one continues that same tradition of reliability, performance, and durability.
What I love most is that Lenovo doesn’t chase fads—it builds machines that work flawlessly when you need them most. The keyboard is still the best in the business, the build quality feels solid and professional, and the performance is exactly what I need to stay productive.
If you want a laptop that you’ll still be using proudly years from now—not just the next shiny thing—ThinkPad is the only choice. Lenovo doesn’t just make laptops; they make long-term partners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd Thinkpad and my 2nd Thinkpad workstation. I use it for music production, mobile DJing, and livestreams and it’s perfect. It handles 2-3 additional displays (needed to manage livestreams), and supports real-time stems. The screen is very bright and crystal clear - and shows up so nicely in outdoor venues. This is much better than a Mac (even the M3) as it supports higher storage requirements and allows 2 internal drives. I have a total of 5TBs of drive space.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The P16 is a really nice Work Station. It is pretty heavy when I took it out of the box. I like how it has the fingerprint unlock on the power button and the screen is very clear. It’s been working flawlessly since I received it but I still have a few upgrades in mind. I’m going to upgrade the memory to 128gb and the Storage to 4TB.
If you’re going to be using a Lenovo Docking Station make sure it can provide enough power to the laptop because the P16 battery provides 170W.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a good computer. It hasn’t given me any issues so far, and I’m really glad I purchased it. I originally got it after a freak water-damage accident with my last laptop, but this one has been a great replacement. It’s bigger than I expected, but I don’t have any complaints.
