great upgrade, love current the state of technolog

I upgraded from the quest 1, but had played my friend's quest 2. This feels much higher resolution & very precise. I'm loving it so far, really happy I made the purchase.

He said that has most of the great features the pro had but it's missing eye tracking. However the resolution is better and the AR is noticeably better. But it's a true value.

Just ok, has some bad flaws

The center camera is WAY to sensitive and causes the headset to black out if so much as a hair gets in its way. The Oculus 2 was more comfortable and leaked less light. Passthrough works well, but there aren't enough good reasons to use it at this point. Decent headset, but not the improvement it should be over the last model.

This is a vast improvement over my Quest 1 but that is expected. I really like most of the features except battery life. It is much lighter and the pass through is a major improvement. The biggest problem is charging and keeping it charged. After some discussion it seems that this unit uses a higher charging power than the others, so it doesn't charge very well if you use a low power port.

I pretty surprised with the quality jump from quest 2 i had before, especially XR. I really love using interfaces without virtual background and just see my room.

I love the Q3! Better fit and vastly better optics. And the color pass-through is absolutely a game-changer!
Very very disappointed about the battery life, though! Very surprised to find it is actually downgraded from the Q2! Hopefully Meta can do something via firmware to improve this severe flaw, because otherwise the Q3 is amazing!
