Best VR Headset, But...

I like the Quest 3, amazing VR headset in all aspects, a futuristic piece of hardware and software that makes my first and best VR experince, however two main key issues to consider.
1. Battery life is horrible, being capped to two hours< sessions is the main reason i stopped using it as much. 2. The extra price for the elite strap, the headset itself is expensive enough. the normal strap was usable but it's nothing comparable to the elite strap, if Meta starts to provide a better strap by default or provide a battry strap for a lower price point to make up for the battery and the comfort issues, this headset will be the future.
The meta quest 3 made a huge jump in quality and performance compared to the quest 2. As someone who has been using my quest 2 since it came out this is huge for me and a majority of other fans. I love the mixed reality and can't wait to see what you guys do next.
its fun lots of games the only problem i have encountered is controller malfunction in smyth riders like to see this fixed

It's an amazing headset. I've never had a VR device before so i am very impressed with the immersion and how it feels. The battery though is dreadful, dying after 1 hour is a bit too much, it's anticlimacting to play just for a bit and then see the battery at like 30%.

The Quest three is absolutely fantastic. I have a Quest Two and the Three is a whole different world. The setup was easy, and its comfort is very much improved. Very happy with my purchase.
I have loved and used my Quest 2 at least 5 times a week since it came out. The Quest 3 seems like a nice advancement but sadly I get severe eye fatigue wearing it. I have to stop after 30 minutes with tired eyes and a small headache right around and above my eyes. I have no idea why it would be different than the Quest 2. I tried various IPD settings and tried to reduce blue light. I also tried to angle it on my face in different ways. I wear glasses and use a Deluxe Audio Head Strap. I'm sad but I guess I'll have to stay on the Quest 2.

Having been an early adopter of virtual reality with the original Oculus, I recently decided to venture into the latest offering from Meta – the Quest 3. Excitement brewed as I anticipated the leaps in technology since my first foray into the immersive world of VR.
The standout feature of the Quest 3, undoubtedly, is its augmented reality capabilities. The evolution from the original Oculus is impressive, introducing a seamless blend of virtual and physical environments. Navigating through the real world with the aid of see-through vision, though falling short of 4k clarity, provided a comfortable and engaging experience.
However, as I immersed myself in the Quest 3, a sense of familiarity overshadowed the excitement. The device, while undoubtedly improved, felt akin to its predecessor, lacking the transformative leap I had anticipated. Incremental upgrades failed to fully justify the premium price tag attached to the latest model, leaving me with reservations about the value proposition.
In conclusion, the Meta Quest 3 undoubtedly represents a refined and capable piece of technology. The augmented reality features add a layer of versatility to the virtual experience. Nevertheless, for those already acquainted with earlier VR iterations, the advancements may not be compelling enough to warrant the substantial investment. Despite the innovative AR elements, the Quest 3 left me yearning for a more revolutionary shift in the VR landscape.
Regrettably, I opted to return the Quest 3, choosing to await further advancements in AR/VR technology before committing to another device. The potential for transformative improvement is evident, and my hope is that in the coming years, technological strides will rekindle the awe and enthusiasm that accompanied my initial foray into the virtual realm. Until then, I remain cautiously optimistic about the future of virtual reality.
