Good step for VR

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The meta quest 3 has been a very solid experience overall, the performance is solid, it’s very lightweight, the new passthrough is very accurate and clear, and even the hand tracking feels pretty much exact! My only problem is the battery life. I can only get about 3 hours of usage for passthrough and panel mode YouTube. And less than that for gaming. But it’s a good step to what VR is capable of! Oh yeah, also. AMAZING AR EXPERIENCES!

I also love the way I can connect with friends in other parts of the country to play games like mini golf and ping pong. My non-gaming husband tried it once and wants his own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been holding off on jumping into VR/Mixed Reality headsets, and I have to say that I'm impressed with the Quest3. The feeling of immersion without the constraints of a cord tethered to a device is great. Even if you only use this to watch shows from your favorite streaming platform on a giant screen anywhere you want, this device is worth it. It's very cool to get a glimpse into the future.

There are many 4k 360 travel videos on youtube so you can visit places that are expensive and far away.

Beat Saber is great for fun and fitness.
The pass-through features and the augmented reality are a totally new experience. It is crazy to have a huge 8-foot screen floating in your room that only you can see!
My kids like this also and are able to use it easily.
I look forward to the next version and will probably get that one too. I'm hooked.
Drawbacks:
You need to install an app on your phone to set up this unit for no apparent reason and to give it your precise location.
If you want to connect it to your computer, then you will need a computer with a graphics card that is on Meta's list of supported cards.

I suspect that the white fabric strap parts are going to start looking dirty.

The crisp, clear immersive set-up allows you to truly feel like you are in another realm. I've had three friends try out my Quest 3 and each one has gone on to purchase their one afterwards. Run, don't walk, to get your on..but only if your serious about taking your gaming to another level!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a big improvement over the quest2, but the construction is meh. The wrist straps have already broken off the controllers (and cant find replacements) the head band (pro) doesnt fit everyone in the house, and my px lenses from the quest 2 cant fit these.
