[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a great piece definitely an improvement upon that of the 2 much more slim and comfortable to use but I was hoping for an improvement upon that of battery life so I will have to get the battery pack strap for it. And lastly I think that the facial interface on the 2 was more comfortable as the base pad than the base pad for the 3 also another part I will have to buy. But other than that great headset and major improvements in systems, storage, and graphics.

The headset and controllers came ready to use and were a breeze to set up. My husband and I are both over 60 and we've definately gotten our money's worth with the games that came with our purchase.

A meaningful upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who used the quest 2 a lot over the last couple years (like every week), I have to say the updates to the quest 3 appear modest, but carry a lot of weight. The biggest one for me is the screen resolution. While it still isn't state of the art, the way the screens are deliberately rotated to have slightly misaligned rotations reduces the screendoor effect dramatically. The hand tracking is still not perfect, but it's much better than it was. I have faith meta is moving in the right direction there. Onboarding is super smooth. The weight still gives me fatigue after about an hour, but once I rest (and recharge the headset), I'm eager to continue where I left off. AC Nexus is the best thing on the platform right now, with beat saber right behind it.

Great product to experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm an old fart and this is my second experience with VR, the first was using a cellphone inserted into head unit. So now, having both augmented and virtual reality is a fantastic experience. The augmented reality turns your living space into the game and is really a treat individually or with a group. The virtual reality was a little challenge at first, I was having mobility/balance/perspective issues... however, due to not giving up, I'm now able to navigate without those initial sensations. I realize much of the game play is the result to the content creators and game designers, but those games would not be possible without the hardware and Meta has done a great job supplying them with the specifications of the Quest 3!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far the Meta Quest 3 has been quite exceptional. The comfort strap adjustability combined with the the movable face shield can make make for a comfortable fit. Clarity is unmatched once you fine tune the lens focus. Setup was nice and easy. The controllers work great and so does the hand tracking. There are so many things you can do with this device, definitely a step forward for VR. I recommend watching a tips and tricks video when getting started for all the pro tips.
