Lots of improvements were made!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used lots of VR setups and this one is definitely my favorite so far. The visual quality is much better now but I could see improvements continuing there. The straps they give you are joke so get something better. I also got a battery extension which I highly recommend. Overall it's a step in the right direction I just wish there were more mixed reality(augmented) games to use this with.

Too confusing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I get frustrated every time I use the Quest 3. Nothing is intuitive, nothing is seamless. It took several days to find games I had bought. When it works it works fine but I can't recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the title of this review, I think that is very obvious my opinion and I know that there is flaws with it and specifically the battery life, but that I have fixed with a battery that I connect to my headset rather than that I use my headset at least once a day I absolutely love it

WORTH THE MONEY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant about spending this amount of money on something but my son wanted one for Christmas so I decided to get it for him. I had used the Oculus 1 (idk what the name of it is) and it was awesome but it made me dizzy because the lenses were constantly focusing another reason why I didn't want to fork over the money. But it's awesome! I love it, it's so much fun!! Worth the money for sure!! Especially if you are a gamer. It's great, and it doesn't give me a headache, I even work out in it. It is awesome, if you are questioning whether or not to buy, do it! Totally worth it.

Great headset marred by pass-through woes

Pros
App selection is good, tracking is better than I hoped for standalone with no base stations. Processing power and screen are enough to feel immersive (Minus occasional stuttering). Pancake lenses are a huge improvement (albeit not perfect). Image is generally clear and refreshes fast enough to not cause a headache. Headset feels sturdy.

Cons
Occasional (albeit rare) stuttering/lag is nauseating. Pass-through is no where near where it needs to be for the average consumer. It is enough to walk around but is extremely grainy (yes, even in well lit areas) and any motion makes the environment lose all detail until you slow down. Battery life is attrocious- you really need an external battery pack for anything more than a demo run or quick session. Hand tracking is not great- but for the price it makes sense. Needs better dedicated streaming options- native Netflix app is still not even HD. Meta needs to work on software partnerships for lifestyle uses to take it mainstream a d put of the hands of VR gamers alone. Included headset strap very uncomfortable for long periods of time- but there are other options (including 3rd party).
