We had version 1, then 2, and now 3 and the prgression of assumeness is astounding!! The passthrough tech in this thing is amazing and you can;t even descibe it, it must be experienced!! Great product and so much fun!!

This VR headset is setting the standard for VR gear. First of all, it's graphics are amazing. It can get ultra quality graphics. In games like Red Matter 2, I was stunned it was possible for a VR headset to look so good. The comfort if this headset is an upgrade from the quest 2. It's much lighter which helps alot. I can wear my glasses without using any spacers/mods. The controller tracking is excellent and the headset looks good overall. The only downside is the battery life which last between 1 1/2 - 3 hours depending on what you're doing. But it's possible to charge and play at the same time so it's not too much of a bother. Plus there is an optional extra battery strap available. Overall I give the Meta Quest 3 a 10/10 rating and is a solid competitor to the PSVR2 due to it's ability to play games without being connected to a Console.

Great Hardwear/Software, Terrible Company

Evrything about the Quest line of VR hardwear gets better every year. The Quest 3 is the best performing of them all. I love a lightweight, tetherless VR experience.
However Meta continues to try to coerce people into their invasive social media platform, and plaster ads for apps everywhere that you can't hide and that sometimes autoplay video. The browser for example always loads with a bunch of "features" for apps you cannot hide. And when booting the Quest you're often bombarded with an autoplaying app preview from the home screen.
Meta wants to give you as little control over your software experience as humanly possible, and it's the reason I primarily use sid eloaded apps and sideq uest with the headset.

Great next gen vr/xr headset!

This is a great headset and is packed full of a ton of features. This is a million times better than the quest 2 in almost every way. This headset is slimmer, faster, and looks better than the quest 3. Would recommend for anyone who wants to get into vr or wants to upgrade from the quest 2.

Really amazing, but with one medium problem

Overall this has been amazing. I never have had VR and finally saved up for it and it didn't disappoint. There is however, one issue. The controllers take AA batteries, and frankly they chew them up like crazy. Other than that, its awesome sauce. I have had the headset get the black screen of death in the middle of BeatSaber, but other than that its been really amazing.
It isn't intuitive to cast to a TV you have to do it through the phone etc. It would be nice if I could just cast it to the Roku I have.
