[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best VR yet! The Meta Quest Three is by far the best vr headset that I have played to date. It's the clearest, most comfortable, and most realistic that I have ever seen. I have absolutely recommended this vr headset to every single one of my friends. Male and female. I couldn't reconnect my oculus quest 2 after you guys changed to Meta but I'm fortunate enough to have a Dad who loves me and worked overtime just to surprise me with this AWSOME meta quest 3 for christmas. Anyway thanks for the opportunity to win even more Meta merchandise! THIS IS AWSOME!

Awesome but updates could make it better

Pros:
Full color passthrough
pancake lens
no more controller rings!
cons:
-Lenses definitely have a "Mura" effect (looks like dust inside the lens) mostly only noticable on very bright colors like white and grey and blue, I try to look past it but sometimes it shows up bad and ruins the immersion a bit
-passthrough is much better than quest 2 but requires ALOT of light to not be grainy
-mic quality does not sound as good as quest 2 (could be updated)
-the facial interface is still uncomfortable for long periods and leaves red marks on my face
-I use zenni lens inserts to protect my lens (non prescription version) and am forced to use the longest setting for the facial interface which sacrifices a little FOV and some of the sweetspot but this may be different for varying faces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the Oculus Rift, Oculus go, Oculus quest 2 and now the Oculus quest 3. I was very hesitant to get the quest 3 until I heard about the passthrough update. I started watching review videos and decided to give it a try. The passthrough feature with the mixed reality is a GAME CHANGER. My biggest problem with the previous versions was that I could not really play/use it unless someone else was home to watch the kids. The quest 3 allows me to use the oculus, especially for exercise, while keeping an eye on the kids and the visuals are significantly more clear than the quest 2. I also love that the quest 3 self maps the room and that I don't have to manually do it. Definitely glad I made the purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] VR is seriously a crazy experience that brings you to another world in your own home. Unfortunately the right controller has a glitch and the pointer goes away frequently, which is not ideal for beat saber.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The headset is a quality product, the resolution is great and passthrough is super fun to use. I do have several gripes though. firstly, the headset connects to the oculus app, which I have found to be quite buggy. trying to save pictures and videos taken through the headset is a whole process, you have to upload them to the app which can take several attempts, and actually saving the picture or video doesn't work 95% of the time. second, the accessories for this headset are way overpriced. If you want accessories, then do not buy them from meta. Instead, buy third party accessories, as they can offer just about the same quality, if not higher quality, for less money. And trust me, you will at least want silicone facial padding. long vr sessions with the original padding get incredibly uncomfortable, and the headband is not very good. My last gripe has to do with pcvr and its difficulties. I got this headset because I wanted standalone vr for quick access to games like beat saber, while still being able to hook up to my pc for more intensive games and access to steam and discord. This headset is amazing if you plan to only use standalone vr, but runs into some issues with pcvr. It works well, but not perfect in the slightest. there are some quality of life things that this headset would greatly benefit from adding to go alongside pcvr, such as an easy way to change boundaries without having to exit your application. As an example, when I play vrchat, I like to lay down in my bed while talking with people. Being able to change the floor level to the height of my bed would really help alleviate the disconnect I feel when my body is laying down but my avatar is crouched awkwardly on the bed. Instead I have to resort to plugins to try to fix these sorts of issues, hoping that they don't break. All in all, this headset is very quality, and the gripes I have are mostly nitpicks. However, if you plan on using pcvr more often then standalone, I would skip the quest 3 and just get a standalone headset.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Meta Quest 3 is amazing! Have you ever watched the movie “Ready Player One”? The Meta Quest 3 puts you right in that kind of world. The YouTube and movie apps are amazing! When you watch a movie it is like being in your own personal imax theater. I very much recommend the Quest 3!
