[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pricing: Amazing for the setup you get and very affordable compared to other VR headsets and products. Quality: Very good, overall. Nice materials and texture, stable and sturdy, high powered software and plenty of storage. Comfort: Nice, although this is its weakest point. However, it is extremely easy to upgrade if it is problematic enough for you, since parts are easy to take apart, replace, exchange, and upgrade things like head straps, wrist straps, facial interfaces, etc. Customization: Good. Easy to exchange facial interfaces if you want a colored one, Meta accounts allow for plenty of customization of user, avatar, and environment, eye spacing adjusting is back to a slider rather than preset distances, etc.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Quest 3 is a huge leap forwards from the Quest 2. The picture is clearer, I can wear it comfortably for longer, and the battery life is excellent. The initial setup had me bouncing between three devices, which felt a little more complicated than necessary. I have to choose between the strap rubbing on my ears or the weight being slightly too far forwards, but overall the headset is quite comfortable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me get straight to the point, the meta quest 3 overall is pretty good but they could do better with the comfort, the setup was good and it was nice that it was in pass through the graphics are amazing a huge upgrade from the quest 2 you did good meta but focus a bit more on comfort and you will be good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our whole family is obsessed with the Meat Quest 3--we had previously tried a cheaper (lesser) VR so were unsure getting this one, but this is a whole different ballgame. Some of us use it for exercise, some for puzzle-games, some for a full-on immersive video game experience. We use it so much we ended up getting a comfort headpiece to replace the strap. The battery life is shorter than we would like, when we are all taking turns playing it doesn't last very long (but with all the heavy lifting it is doing, that's fair.) But if you are looking for a wide variety of great games with something for everyone, including some with mixed-reality (which I love) this is the one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this purchase. I bought the 1 to test out VR. I am loving the games I can play. And how easy the upgrade/set up was. Highly recommend. Next is to buy the Elite Strap for more battery and hopefully a bit more comfortable. It's not bad. I just dont care for how the sides adjust. I think the other strap will fix that. Plus add time I can play. Which now is about 2 hrs at a time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No question purchasing a Quest3 is an investment, but it is worth it. From a personal point of view, i love the games, and how immersive the environments are.
From a business perspective, as a creative, i finally feel i can start ways to share more work and engage clients more. Specifically 3D viz applications.
The hands free functionality while novel, shows real promise and i am way for apps to start utilizing the functionality more.
In terms of comfort, compared to my quest 1, its night and day. The unit is very light. With the additional battery park serving as counter balance, its feels like i am wearing a simple baseball cap.
I know apple pro is out there, and with it comes apples high pricing structure. I feel you are always paying for the name with their products and not getting as much on the return.
Still do the work yourself and i think you will see the quest 3 is an excellent step into the emerging world of VR.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a console gamer dating back to the early 80's. My tween & teen nephews told me about the Meta 3, as they've a friend who owns one. I was impressed by how easy it was to immerse ourselves into the gameplay that for Christmas I purchased two for them and they'd lost their minds. They absolutely love it!
