The best VR experience for health & fitness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Quest products for over 3 years now and I have always been a non-believer that it was meaningful in real-life because of the friction it creates in communications. It makes us more self-centered than we already are. But this all changed for me with the release of Quest Pro and now Quest 3 headsets. While they are not perfect and leave a lot to be desired for, I see myself using it daily for exercising. It's one thing for which I don't mind being more self-centered at all :). I have always wanted to exercise and move more than I do. However, due to an accident I was not doing as much. I tried physical therapy and private lessons, and while they work there is always this time limit and goal of what the trainer wants you do, irrespective of whether you feel comfortable about it. I struggled for 5 years with this, and then I discovered Quest and some games like Les Mills body combat. I could suddenly exercise at my own pace at any time of day, and I am not running against the clock and expectations. It changed my life. I still have pain in my knees because of the accident but now I feel confident running up and down the stairs. So, thank you! Meta and Oculus - you did wonders for me.
I am exercising a lot more and feel a lot better.
I do think though that at this price point Meta can offer a few more tiny additions to quest 3 which make it a bit more useful. And software around hand / gesture recognition can be improved as well. There are times when I am frustrated for lags but its not always and I do think they can fix it.
Its a great product and you should try it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An incremental improvement over the Quest 2 in every way - especially the visuals. If you just play beat saber, then it is not worth the upgrade over Quest 2, but if you want the best visuals, it's a fantastic headset and I love it. Just get a better strap. I like the bobovr strap.

Quest 3 is the best starter pcvr headset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have a quest 2 that I used for pcvr gaming. However, I purchased the Quest 3 and it was a world of difference. The graphics quality is amazing and having more peripheral vision is a game changer. 100% recommend

I used to do IT and coding and the set up on this system is great and I really love how I can have both worlds of the mix reality of the pro and the gaming marks of the quest 2. Great idea and I continue to see more and more improvements on each game.

Pretty good headset. Bad strap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's a little plastic bit on the back of the headset, holding the strap together, that kinda digs into the back of my head when the strap is the tightness required to actually keep the thing held to my face. Other than that though, it's a direct upgrade from the Quest 2 I had before, in pretty much every way. A bit expensive, but oh well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is my first headset and for now (2 weeks of use) it went beyond my expectations, expecially given the price. I was really positively surprised by the level of immersion you get from this device. Your movement are reflected very well in the movements in the AR/VR environment. AR is also amazing: obviously the image is not sharp, but you can definitely move around and interact with objects (but no reading on phone). VR is also fantastic and I am really enjoying playing games. Hand tracking is usable, but not precise, while the joysticks behaves perfectly. A little downside is the comfort, but it is what it is with the technology right now. A better headstrap can surely help, but I haven't tried a new one yet. The headset (for me) is perfectly usable with the basic kit you get when purchasing it.
