Worth every penny

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No question purchasing a Quest3 is an investment, but it is worth it. From a personal point of view, i love the games, and how immersive the environments are.
From a business perspective, as a creative, i finally feel i can start ways to share more work and engage clients more. Specifically 3D viz applications.
The hands free functionality while novel, shows real promise and i am way for apps to start utilizing the functionality more.
In terms of comfort, compared to my quest 1, its night and day. The unit is very light. With the additional battery park serving as counter balance, its feels like i am wearing a simple baseball cap.
I know apple pro is out there, and with it comes apples high pricing structure. I feel you are always paying for the name with their products and not getting as much on the return.
Still do the work yourself and i think you will see the quest 3 is an excellent step into the emerging world of VR.

Great product

The controller tracking is not perfect and this causes issues during games like Beatsaber, but it does play well most of the time. I would love to be able to control what games the kids have access to voice and other user-originated sound. This seems to be up to the game itself and many games do not allow for you to control the sound to prevent kids from taking or hearing other users. It would be great to put sound behind parental controls.
Overall we love it though, the whole family plays with it, (Mom, Dad, Daughter (11), Son (8)). Its a great time.

My nephews love it!

I was impressed by how easy it was to immerse ourselves into the gameplay that for Christmas I purchased two for them and they'd lost their minds. They absolutely love it!

The Best Headset for VR/AR/MR!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Meta Quest 3 is the best headset for VR/AR/MR. I've been into VR since it's inception. I currently own a PSVR2 as well and the Quest 3 is far better.
If VR is too much for you to handle then the Quest 3 is still for you. The Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality games and Apps this headset provides adds fun and functionality to your living room. I often wear my Quest 3 as I do chores around the house. You can create a large 200" widescreen with your favorite media streaming on it and carry it around the house with you without missing a moment. This feature was amazing during football games. I could fold my laundry and watch my favorite team at the same time.
If I had one complaint about the Quest 3 it would be that the passthrough cameras aren't full HD. It is very hard to read text on your Phone, TV, and Computer Screen while in passthrough mode. You have to remove the headset to read texts or emails. Another complaint a lot of people have is the battery life. I don't have a problem with this at all. The battery in the headset is very capable and gives you a little over 2 hours of playing time. This is very impressive when you consider the weight of the headset and the tasks burdening the battery. A simple solution is to attach an external battery to the headset. Then you can have endless hours of VR/AR/MR fun while being tethered to a battery in your pocket.
I love this headset! The Quest 3 reminded me that AR/MR is the future and is here to stay.
