[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall my experience with the quest 3 has been great. There were some setup issues that required me to factory reset a few times during account linking. I also do not like that I cannot swap master accounts without wiping the device and library sharing with family is not ideal the way it is handled now. I also did not appreciate that the games I previously purchased on my older quest did not transfer to the new quest.
Once setup was complete, the experience has been amazing. The passthrough camera is very well done. The games that run off the headset are very smooth and great fun! Streaming from my steam PC has been a bit laggy and for games like beatsaber it was game breaking, but running beat saber from the headset is perfect.

An improvement, but at what cost $$$?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine runs smoother, fits more comfortably, and has a longer battery life than the Quest 2 -- all of which are improvements I was hoping to see. However, it's by no means truly comfortable, and all these improvements still don't warrant the price tag. 4/5
