[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some combination of - improved tracking - improved refresh rate - improved pixel density gives the Quest 3 a sense of stability its predecessors lacked. Objects in the virtual world feel like they’re actually fixed in space — at least, until you lose tracking for a split second and you float through a wall.
Full color pass through makes for some pretty good MR experiences.
WiFi 6 makes wireless PCVR bearable.
The controllers are more pleasant, and the hand tracking feels more accurate.
It’s still heavy, and the battery life is a bummer, and the lack of OLED makes dark environments more foggy than dark, and the mobile processor will never measure up to a top of the line PC — but it’s still the best VR headset I’ve owned.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Meta Quest 3 is a an overall great headset with good tracking and quality display. It is very powerful. I mostly play beat saber and have only come across one problem with it. The tracking gets thrown off if you use a grip other than default because of the lidar sensors placement and so tracking occasionally is weird. But even with some of the sensors covered it holds good tracking.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Quest 3 has incredible visuals. The hand held controls are very convenient. The setup is easy to learn. The battery life is short, so make sure to charge it when not using.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really loving the Quest 3. I got my Quest 1 two months before the Quest 2 came out and was stuck with it for a while (Which ended up being cheaper than the original Quest 1 price). So when the Quest 3 finally came out, I immediately jumped on it and was blown away. The intro game that comes with the game (I think it's called First Steps?) is the best game to introduce people to AR and I think it's fantastic they're trying to go in that direction. Looking forward to how they're going to develop that in the future. The comfort is okay. For fast paced games, I find I need to strap it tighter and it starts getting uncomfortable eventually, but it's still markedly improved from the Q2, which I was able to try out at work. The Q3 is better balanced and doesn't weigh as much on the front of your head. Though it's still there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Meta quest 2 and a meta quest 1 and now I have the quest 3. Each time they get better in comfort, graphics, and just a better overall experience.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a Quest 2, Meta Pro and now the Meta Quest 3 and I cannot believe the improved passthrough and mixed reality experience the 3 delivers!
