im blown away by the overall product, technology and experience. using my quest excites me for the future. obviously there’s some shortcomings in regards to battery life and long term computing power maintaining a smooth experience but that will likely resolve as the technology progresses.
you kind of run out of ways to practically use it but can also see the potential. it’s just a matter of time. as it becomes more popular, people will begin to develop.

Graphics are great, but so uncomfortable as is

Graphics are great, but it’s sadly so uncomfortable as is. Bought an Elite, did not like it. Ultimately I had to get a Bobo AND add the included waffle pad. Now it’s very comfortable!!

New Headset

I was very excited to get the headset but the painful setup process severely dampened my initial excitement. I was not able to pair my headset to the Meta App on my phone for more than a week. The message on the headset was not helpful with no website address or contact number provided. By accident I updated the cloud storage on my iPhone and then got the ability to pair the headset on my phone. In this situation it would have been helpful if there was a message stating the reason for not being to link up. Also, state if there are minimum cloud storage requirements needed for the pairing process.

Bought it for my fiancé for Christmas. He’s always do hard to buy for since he buys for himself all throughout the year. This is the first year in 12 years of being together that I got a “you knocked it outta the park this year!” From him. I’ll take it as a win!

Not Much Different from the Quest 2

I guess I didn’t know what to expect, the feeling is definitely the same, it is more clear but that’s something they could’ve done to the Quest 2. I just didn’t really find what made it feel different from a Quest 2. I’ve tried the Augmented reality, I couldn’t set it up, tried it for some piano game I keep forgetting to apply a refund for. The only thing that pushes people to purchase this will be the fact that a new game is on it/comes with it, techniques taken straight out of the gaming industry. Thanks Meta for the quest! It was a gift from you guys. I’m sorry I don’t have more positive feedback, I hope this doesn’t tarnish our relationship and you guys not send me more gifts. 🥺
