Just ok, has some bad flaws

The center camera is WAY to sensitive and causes the headset to black out if so much as a hair gets in its way. The Oculus 2 was more comfortable and leaked less light. Passthrough works well, but there aren't enough good reasons to use it at this point. Decent headset, but not the improvement it should be over the last model.

This is a vast improvement over my Quest 1 but that is expected. I really like most of the features except battery life. It is much lighter and the pass through is a major improvement. The biggest problem is charging and keeping it charged. After some discussion it seems that this unit uses a higher charging power than the others, so it doesn't charge very well if you use a low power port.

I upgraded from the quest 1, but had played my friend's quest 2. This feels much higher resolution & very precise. I'm loving it so far, really happy I made the purchase.

He said that has most of the great features the pro had but it's missing eye tracking. However the resolution is better and the AR is noticeably better. But it's a true value.

Awesome visual and comfort

The weighted battery pack on the added elite strap and the soft and supportive face grip makes using the Meta 3 very enjoyable. My only complaint with metas, is the area around the nose. It's the only area that has light leakage and is slightly uncomfortable compared to my Vive. Picture quality is amazing.

Great headset with some drawbacks

Overall, my experience with this headset for the best month has been great! There are a few bugs I’ve encountered that I hope will be patched soon, but other than that it’s great! The improved fidelity is entirely noticeable using Quest Link, and it’s new speaker system sounds far clearer than the Quest 2 had previously.
However, not alot of titles made just for the Quest 3 are available at the time of leaving this review. It’s been incredible to have my entire library of Quest 2 titles ready to go “out of the box”, though only a handful have received updates to take advantage of the Quest 3’s hardware, or have been made specifically with Quest 3 in mind.
In the end, the headset has been superb and I’m really happy with the improvements to comfort and fidelity, but not a worthy enough upgrade yet for those looking for said increased fidelity in standalone, unless you’re willing to play the waiting game.
