[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd been looking into VR for a long time and I'm glad I started here. I think the Meta Quest 3 is a great place to get into a spoil yourself with a great first impression. For someone who wares glasses it provides plenty of room to wear them while playing. The tracking works well and display is awesome in game. It is slightly grainy on pass through but that may be just my dimmer environment during the winter. Overall pretty good, has room to be better but for its value I'd say this is top notch.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Quest 3 is such a step up from the quest 2. For me its like going from HD to 4K! The graphic fidelity is fantastic enough but with the new color passthrough camera mixed reality is amazing! I highly recommend people to upgrade as soon as it's affordable for them as they won't be disappointed. My wife recently bought one, before it arrived she was having a bit of buyers remorse. But when it arrived and she played it for the first time, remorse be gone she and I couldn't be happier with our new headsets!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a few things I'd love to see updated for the Quest 3. One major one being the passthrough, it's pretty fantastic but the warping around objects can totally be improved with better code. And then lastly is the strap, which is not the best. Otherwise I love my Quest 3 and use it a ton.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Meta Quest 3 has been a gamechanger for playing VR. The Quest 2 was often quite blurry and did not support my IPD while the Quest 3 feels lighter, has clearer lenses, and supports my IPD. Although the default head strap is not the best, getting an Elite Strap especially with the battery to act as a counter weight makes it feel super light. This is the first time I have ever forgotten I had a headset on due to how clear and light it felt. The default battery life is not the best, but adding the battery strap makes it last hours. I personally have played for more than 3.5 hours and still had battery left over. The tracking is a significant upgrade over the Quest 2's tracking, and the controllers feel lighter. Overall, the Meta Quest 3 has changed my VR experience, going from being able to play for maybe an hour before getting a headache to being able to play for 3+ hours and having a great time. The setup is very quick, and takes barely any time at all.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had multiple devices over the years but this one is probably the best one yet. Really comfortable and easy to set up, relatively portable and with a great variety of games and apps that give you the ability to use it for multiple different purposes. I use mine primarily for gaming, but at the same time I can answer WhatsApp mesages, or pull up a YouTube video. Also, the camera (although not the best quality, but decent enough that I can read text in my phone)makes it so the real world is easily available without having to remove your visor.
Only significant downside I see is the battery life. Only lasts a few hours while gaming, so it makes the battery strap add on a must have, specially if you plan to play games for more than 2 hours at a time.
Overall really happy with my purchase, and would recommend it to any vr lovers out there
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I like the quest3 but with some concern on the product the strap and comfort is missing if you exceed 30min unless additional support band is added and coming to controllers If it can detect hand movement instead of controller this will help a lot in experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first VR headset and I'm glad I went with the newest one. It was totally worth the money. The head straps it come with can be a little weird to get used to at first, but once you know how to put it on in the most comfortable way for you it's not an issue at all.
