This is the 3rd VR headset that I've owned and so far the best one. The visuals were awesome and the wasn't bad either for an old dude to set up. The only thing I have to figure out is why the headset loses battery power while playing a game.

Had for two weeks and already has a dead pixel. Will be contacting Meta for replacement or repair. For the price there should t be any issues. Also doesn’t charge from the elite strap with battery for some reason.

I’ve being using VR for about 9 years now and the new meta3 is so enjoyable and exciting to use.
The days of old rollercoaster videos are over and now we are immersed in amazing stories and games. I’ll visit with family in VR and watch movies with friends. My wife and I workout now in Les mills combat game.
This has been worth it for me.

Major Upgrade

I was very hyped to get a true next-gen Quest console and the Quest 3 does not disappoint. The resolution and load times are way better than the Quest 2, and it won’t be long now before we get new games or new updates for current games that will take full advantage of the new hardware. The little bit I’ve seen already has be psyched for the future.

Best VR Yet, with caveats

Far and away the best overall VR headset I've tried yet. Image quality is top notch and the new passthrough is amazing. For 99% of what I do in VR, including using it to connect to my PC and do pcvr, it's simply the best (and ive had six different headsets since buying my first oculus dev kit).
The only downsides are fairly minor. First, the battery life isn't great. It can be improved by buying a separate strap, but that feels like something that should have been included. Second, with this display type, you don't get true blacks as the screen is always on. This is especially noticeable when I play something like Elite Dangerous where you are looking out into space. Lastly, the headset seems more prone to fogging up than other headsets I have used.
Even with these, the downsides are fairly minor, and the upsides are huge. Go out and buy one of these. Not only do you get a killer headset, but it incentives meta to keep pouring money into VR.
