AMAZING, but heavy :/

I loca the device! It's incredible. Love the apps, games, definition, the sound WITHOUT ear plugs! 😍
But unfortunately quest is heavy, not because the baterry, but the entry strap seems not to fit any head (I have a big one and it's still loosen).
Then it obligates to buy the elite strap, but if we could have two more stripes in the entry, I think it could be already solved.

Great for some, not great for others

This probably isnt the headset for me. Primarily playing flight sims and sim racing games… primarily running endurance races on iracing and ACC… headset does not hold charge plugged in and you need to come up with 3rd party work arounds to milk as much time out of this headset before it dies on you. That being said… if you enjoy casual games, and being able to work in a virtual environment. This headset is great. Resolution and overall lack of screen door effect are great. Meta is making steps in the right direction with VR. They just don't have every type of user in mind yet.

1 issue is. How can you make it easier to play on my multiple units. I have a quest 2 and now a quest 3. Want to play in game with my kids at same time. Hasn’t been super easy to do that in game.

We're finally where we need to be

I've owned every Quest (and Rift) and although I have very much enjoyed them, I feel Quest 3 is finally at the stage that I wished with the original. Pass through is good enough now that I can comfortably work on my client's videos with a giant virtual screen in my office (or anywhere in the house). Games are starting to becoming more polished and there are less Repetitive Roguelike type games in the library. Anyone wondering about VR, this is the headset to get you started. Very glad that you no longer have to have a Facebook account though. That was a deal breaker for me.

Pretty amazing gear, with flaws...

I am loving the Meta Quest 3 the visual fidelity is great! It feels smooth, and hand tracking feels so much more natural. The controllers feel well built, and the pass-through looks pretty nice when compared to Quest 2.
My biggest flaw with this device is the battery life... I power it on and start downloading games while it is plugged into the wall. Yet I still manage to miraculously lose 5-10% depending how long I leave the headset on. It's almost impossible to get long play sessions, >depending the game<. Especially when taking into consideration that the battery rapidly dies in pass-through mode. Even a 20,100 MaH battery anker struggles keeping life in this headset.
I truly hope there is a update or fixes that will help the battery situation. (Especially with Asgards Wrath 2 releasing soon.) Other than that my last nit pick is the lighting has to be good or you'll end up with a shodow like strip passing your vision in pass-through while you look around. I wonder if it is just my headset causing the issue or my lighting though because I do tend to play in well light areas.

No matter what you are doing eventually the headset has a lost tracking error which is basically a crash. You can not accomplish anything meaningful even something simple like watching a YouTube video from start to finish. Disappointing for such an expensive toy. The quality before tracking is lost is pretty wild but even so unless you are a hardcore gamer I can see the novelty of this wearing off for most fairly quickly.

If your headset is displaying a "tracking lost" error, try cleaning the headset cameras with a dry microfiber cloth, and make sure to test the headset in different rooms to confirm the issue isn't related to the environment.
