Incrementally better

The Quest 3 is not a revolutionary change over the Quest 2. The resolution of the lenses and the passthrough is notably, but not Earth-shatteringly better. The headset feels significantly heavier than the Quest 2. The battery life is significantly worse on the Quest 3 -- I can't get through a multiplayer game of Walkabout Mini Golf without plugging in (that isn't the case with the Quest 2 or Quest Pro, both of those get me through a long game with plenty of battery to spare).
Most concerning, there are some audio issues that make Q3 users have pops and dropouts in their voice when talking in some bandwidth-intensive apps. There is also an extremely high-pitched sound (~12kHz) that accompanies sibilant speech sounds. I have tried to report these things to Meta by filing support tickets, but they only want to have me send the headset back -- despite the fact that it's not an individual hardware issue, it's happening to dozens of people.

Software is not caught up to hardware

My biggest complaint is that there are no games (yet) specifically designed for the Meta Quest 3 everything is either a remake of the old Quest game or some added texture pack. I would think they would debut with at least one solid game that they endorsed to show off the new equipment. While the device is newer, lighter, and much quicker plus I love the color passthrough it has nothing that takes advantage of it and therefore, it is like buying a new computer only to play games that you can run on your old system on it, but with more frames. Kind of defeats the purpose.

Absolutely Amazing Upgrade from the original Quest. Not quite to the level of fully external sensors like the valve index but I can play extremely fast songs on beatsaber... Much better compared to the Quest

It looks better than Q2 on games made for Q2 I can't wait to see what it looks like on games made for Q3. Down side constant crashes, loss of tracking, and a false message "Not enough memory to play Zenith"

The Quest 3 Is A Gane Changer For The Industry, With Pasthrough And Bettet Graphic Capabilities For A Stand Alone Headset. The Headset Itself I'd Insanley Spec'd Out For The Price. However, Comfort Is Just Non Existent With The Out-Of-Box Strap, The Face Mask Is Nice, But The Headstrap Leaves My Face Painful For Not Even Prolonged Use, And The Battery Life Is Poor To Say The Least, On Average Only Getting Close To 1.8 Hours Of Intense Play Before It Dies Obruptly. The Last Thing I Will Say Is, It Is A Good Product And Worth The Buy If You Can, But Could Have Been Better.
