Worth The Upgrade…

The Meta Quest 3 dominates the Meta Quest 2 in every way imaginable.
The first thing I noticed was the low profile and lighter weight of the headset compared to the Quest 2. The imagery is brighter and the speakers are louder. Both of these features get high marks from me.
The pass through is in color and is easily good enough to read wearing the headset. I can easily read my cellphone wearing the headset.

Uncomfortable battery drainer

The pass through is really cool but the battery drains when I'm gaming and I get less than 2 hours playtime. That's abysmal. The head strap is also extremely uncomfortable. And there's barely and fun games to play. I was excited to play echo arena and then really disappointed to learn the servers were shut down. Do better meta.

first got it it was a joy the airbridge was fine and the display was great except for the short battery life. new update airbridge has become a mess.

Incredible headset yet needs better basics

I love this headset, love love it. Great visuals, design, capabilities, mixed reality (and not just because that’s the name of my company), it’s incredible in many ways.
However on the constructive criticism side, the headstrap is awfully uncomfortable and overly complicated to use, especially on more than one head. And the battery is terrible. I live and breathe VR yet struggle to get over 1hr 20
