Really great headset

So far I am loving the headset, only issue is passthrough isn't as clear as others. I've tried different lighting to the same effect. But overall easy to use and certainly worth it

Ended up doing a factory reset after a couple of weeks of using the Quest 3. Supernatural kept glitching out and nothing would work. The factory reset fixed it and everything is going well now. Headset is much more comfortable than my Quest 1 and 2.

Amazing graphics compared to the Quest 2! Love the integrative mixed reality and I’m excited for what’s to come. The head strap is super comfortable and the battery life is terrible for someone that likes to play Population: One for a few hours at a time. I purchased the BINBOK external battery and the head strap that it came with was much more comfortable but the 8000 mAh*2 Battery Capacity is not enough to charge the headset faster than it drains. So that’s a little upsetting. For all that it’s worth though I’m loving my Quest 3 and highly recommend that everyone gets the upgrade or if you haven’t ever gotten into VR yet, you should try it. 👍👍

So far, I am loving this headset and I believe it is the best one put out by Meta so far. Everything works right out of the box with a seamless setup. After the few mixed reality applications I have tried, I am ridiculously excited for the future in this area with MetaQ3. The headset design is nice and slim with the reduced optical stack caused by the pancake lenses. However, I do feel the headsets need to have reduced weight in the future for increased comfort during long gaming sessions. Overall, this is an amazing advancment in technology and I feel excited every time I look over at that beautiful little Meta Quest 3.

Looks great! Improved lenses, better display, weight distribution feels much better sitting closer to your face.
worst thing about it is the battery life. I play while on charger(2.4A). Will still drain the battery. About 2 hrs on battery, goes to about 5 hrs on cable(assuming the battery is at 100%).
That said, I am happy with my purchase and I believe battery life will improve over time as software updates optimizes use.

A decent upgrade with some battery drawbacks

Feels nice with the center of gravity closer to your head. And the passthrough is nifty, but there doesn't seem to be much actual use for it. It does seem to have difficulty charging when connected to my PC, where my Quest 2 does just fine, which is my biggest concern.
Also, you have a method to connect to wifi using a QR code on your phone....but you still have to input the wifi password with the phone. What's up with that?

VR Is a bit below expectation

The Quest 3 is comfortable, fast, and fairly easy to set up which are all great to have! There are few downsides to it however:
1. Battery life is really tiny, I had to buy an Anker Battery pack with 24,000 mah to supply enough power to VR Headset to last long enough to my enjoyment.
2. AI for Hand/Finger Trackings are borderline impractical, because it is so narrow on field of view. I highly suggests selling external webcam to boost tracking, I think this does have potential.
