A Leap Into the Future

The Quest 3 is such a giant jump from the Quest 2 and any other headset I have ever used, this is the first time I can honestly say I look forward to using my headset almost every day. Once passthrough and hand tracking gets perfected, I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing people use the Quest 3 in public to watch videos and be productive while out and about. This is the future.

Overall well done

I upgraded straight from a quest 1 and the jump was insane. I feel more immersed and everything looks fantastic. One major setback is how powerful the quest 3 is compared to what the battery can support. It lasts around 2hrs depending on what you're doing but I would've liked to see it last much longer, 2.5 or 3 hrs would've been amazing. Definitely would recommend getting it though!

Parental controls don’t work

Bought for my 13 year old; he saved his money for a year to get it. Unfortunately the parent controls on the App don’t exists as instructed on the website. No time limits, only a simple block of Apps. For parent time limits we have to physically put the device away. Facebook (as expected) doesn’t have good parent tools - or at least think it does but never validates them. I find it very difficult to trust this company.

Awesome Upgrade

I came from the Quest 2, even though visual is a small upgrade the device comfort, portability and the reduction in size makes a ton of difference. I also love the Quest 3 controllers. Definitely going in the right direction. I'm an early adopter. Can't wait what comes out next.

My family and I really enjoy the meta oculus 3 The only complaint would be that the front goggles are heavy and get warm so it tends to press against your head and pull down and may cause neck strain I am looking into getting a different strap to see if that will help. The games are amazing some of the graphics are really cool I wish that it would allow me to combine some games that have already paid for on other systems IE beat saber but overall I highly recommend.

Best VR headset for the price

I upgraded from the Quest 2 to 3. I was completely blown away by the color pass through. That alone is definitely a reason to get the Quest 3. Other things that I liked include the improved head strap comfort and less reliance on controllers. The hand tracking is excellent!

default facial interface discomfort

I've had my quest 3 since launch day and everything has been great except for the facial interface. It felt fine at first but now it feels like smushing a dried out sponge against your face leaving marks after short sessions. I was hoping it would come with a silicone cover like the quest 2 did after recall. I'm definitely taking a break until i order a cover

I loved the Quest 2 and when I heard the Quest 3 was coming out I immediately pre ordered and it’s no disappointment it’s so much better then Quest 2 the only thing is there’s not a lot of games releasing when the headset came out and there’s not enough mixed reality games yet
