[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Oculus for Christmas 2023. I had the Oculus 2 and I loved it but the comfort level on the Oculus 3 is absolutely amazing. It absorbs the sweat like no other. It fits perfectly around my head and the graphics are awesome. I would recommend the Oculus 3 over the 2 any day!!!!

A huge step in the right direction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the new Meta Quest 3. Just the fact that they made it smaller alone is great. It's not so heavy on your face like the Quest 2. The display resolution on this is also so much clearer. Also, it doesn't fog up as bad as the old one when you first put it on. I really hope more people start playing VR so we can start getting some more AAA games on it.

good product but bad features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the battery life makes it hard to play for any decent length of time and the adjustable plastic peace to distance the headset from your face broke on the first use but the headset itself is a decent just wish they put more work in the other components

My parents' smile alone made this worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I held out for a long time on buying a VR headset because of the low display resolution and tracking issues that previous generation VR headsets from all manufacturers suffered from, not the mention lack of a large selection of games and apps, but finally made the plunge with the Quest 3.
I did not expect Mixed Reality to be alluring and it wasn't even a feature in my decision to buying this headset, the higher resolution was mainly what roped me in. But I have to say the MR experience is phenomenal and the space invaders game that it comes with is especially fun for elder people and kids. The resolution is awesome and a huge upgrade over older headsets. I had my extended family over for Christmas and every single person enjoyed it and was impressed. My retired parents loved it and their smiles alone made this worth it!

Pros:
The resolution is awesome especially on updated games like Red Matter 2.
The 360 videos on YouTube (use the browser, not the app) look absolutely incredible in 8k resolution.
The tracking is great and I haven't had issues with any games at all. But I have not played extremely fast paced games like Beat Saber on high difficulty.
The app store has a great selection and the fact that you don't need to tether to a computer is awesome.
Steam VR works fine for me.
The fact that you can mirror the screen on the phone using the Oculus app is also great. Allowed me to guide other users when they tried it out.
It is very comfortable to wear at least for an hour or two by which time the battery runs out anyway.
The strap is easily adjustable and the headpiece moves to accommodate eye glasses as well.
It auto detects the perimeter which makes configuring that a breeze.
