I have thought for many years that all PC Manufacturers should make it easier for all of their customers to understand & execute (or ai now to automatically execute) all necessary steps to keep their personal data Safe & their PC's running smooth as new for however long they have them. Most do not understand about all of settings, virus protections, etc. Maybe some sort of Simple Checklist / Program to be opened upon New Purchase - ?
The laptop feels cheap, the after closing it and opening it for a month the screen edges leave a dirt print on the bottom part of the laptop. For some reason its hard to plug and unplugged a HDMI or the charging cord from its ports. The display changes colors all the time and its very uncomfortable, horrible white colors and not so vivid colors on the images. I can see light that may be cause by pressure on the display while urning on the laptop. In the software are I feel it has
My new HP OmniBook5 is perfect! I have owned numerous laptop computers over several decades, and this 16-inch-screen OmniBook5 is absolutely the best one. A few of the best features include the following: Backlit keyboard; NumPad that works with Windows as it should; emoji key; specially lighted keys for sound being off and power button location; easy typing on the keyboard; large letters, numbers, etc. on the keys; pop-up notification for NumLock on/off. I also like the fact that this laptop came with 32GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD and that it has the full complement of ports, including HDMI. The setup process was seamless and quick -- no glitches. Finally, the price: very low cost to this wonderful laptop computer. Overall, a wonderful product!
A nice easy to use laptop for home general use. Comes with camera, speakers, microphone, and other useful features including AI. Only short coming is not being able to connect to many devices at same time at home such as disc drive, flash drive. internet via cable, external mouse all at once due to not enough open ports. This is common with laptops because of size, but is easy to overcome with certain extra easily found cables.
I have two suggestions:1) I do not like where the power button is located. It is too easy to hit it by mistake. My recommendation would be to place it at the top right corner. 2) I miss a second CTRL key near where the Copilot button is located. Perhaps combining CTRL and Copilot key using the shift key for Copilot.
I customized this laptop, so it has decent specs. Using it for personal stuff, but it boots up quickly, everything runs smoothly on it so far, even my audio editing software.
