JBL Bass is surprisingly loud.

This JBL Bluetooth speaker is awesome. I was able to customize it with one of my artworks and it looks great. It sound amazing. I'm a big reggae fan and reggae needs a high volume of bass to Appreciate the sound of the reggae riddim and this speaker doesn't disappoint. It pushes the bass ridding in a dig way for such a small speaker. JBL realized the thumping bass is key to having a great product. Thank you I'm very happy.

Battery life is more than sufficient. Sound quality is on point. Love the color! The exclamation points on the sides bounce with the beats. Surface on the bottom keeps the unit in place. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase.

Fantastic product. Music is clear even at loud volumes (though I wouldn’t recommend playing it at the highest volume for extended periods of time. I love how the pause and play symbols are at each ends of the bass. And as always, its best feature is the extreme portability. I love this so much more than my JBL charge 3!

Amazing sound and functionality!! This is the third JBL speaker I own: Charge 4 and a Boom Box being the other 2. Fabulous quality!

Way more aesthetically pleasing then past speakers

Recently purchased and i have to say the sound is miles louder than the charge 4. The bass is also punchier on the 5. And not to mention the much more pleasing design of the 5 is probably the best thing on the speaker. Worth every penny.
