The lid and strainer fit well, and I love that you never have to worry about whether the spout and handle are aligned when you pour (as in traditional French presses with the metal frame). The press gets warm, but never so warm you can’t touch or handle it with bare hands. Absolutely love it!

Elegant French press keeps coffee hot and tasty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One thing I don’t like about French presses is that they frequently don’t keep the coffee hot. This issue is addressed by double-wall types, but I’ve never liked their appearance. This double-wall glass version is both one of the best looking presses I’ve seen and also quite functional.
The one downside that’s apparent is that, unlike most presses that have a glass center in a non-glass base, if the glass on this one breaks the whole press is lost. And at the price point, it’s a little expensive.
But if it’s in your budget, I strongly recommend this press.

Best Coffee!

I've been using a coffee press for many years and love the end result. Coffee is
smooth, well balanced, and pure. Purchased the double walled version so that my coffee would stay nice and hot. The interior definitely helps keep my coffee hot for longer periods of time than any of the other French Presses in my collection. Looks great on the table, nice clean contemporary design.
