My favorite french press

Beautiful french press makes a great cup of coffee. 2 tips: 1) make sure to preheat the french press & 2) makes about two 12 oz cups of coffee when filled to the max

Looks nice, but..

The double wall glass is pretty nice. It looks like a good product and for the most part it is. But, the pour spout is awful and spills everywhere. The strainer is crappy black plastic which makes it pour even worse. Those simple changes would make this a great press. Seems to keep the ground out pretty well like it should. I would look for a better press.

Plunger pole too short/ does not screw into filter

The plunger pole is too short or the nite between the plunger pole and the filter is too long. Went to use it for the first time and it came apart. Not able to even try the product

Poor filter quality. I've had to start pouring my coffee into my mug through a paper filter so I'm not drinking grit. I have cut myself on the mesh filter more than once. The spring is already coming apart after a dozen uses. I have only hand washed, but there is tons of condensation built up between glass layers. Do not buy. Past return period so I'm stuck with it.

Screw on filter problem

The screw holding the filter assembly to the press rod is too short and comes off too easily. I’ve found no way to tighten it well to keep the assembly intact. It is an inside thread screw with no traction. As soon as I invert the thing the assembly falls apart. I have tried cleaning with a pipe cleaner, clean but does not hold.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
