[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This press is gorgeous and works great. The lid and strainer fit well, and I love that you never have to worry about whether the spout and handle are aligned when you pour (as in traditional French presses with the metal frame). The press gets warm, but never so warm you can’t touch or handle it with bare hands. Absolutely love it!

great brew

I use this press every day. It makes great coffee. The double wall design keeps it hot for a long time. If I have to leave early for work I just leave it on the counter for my wife and her cup is still hot when she gets up. The carafe works well for cold as well. Ive used it for cold brew coffee and for bloody marys and juice without the press part in it.

Lovely to look at, functionally challenging

We were specifically looking for an insulated french press and didn't see one in our usual brand so tried this one. Right out of the box my husband complained about how fiddly the small bits of the plunger mechanism were. The bigger issue is the very, very slim pour spout. One has to pour very, very slowly to keep from making a mess. Literally the coffee can be no more than a trickle or it runs down the sides. I wonder if that design was intentional to help keep the coffee hot, although turning the plunger with the slits away from the spout should accomplish the same thing. The first time I used it, I had to wonder if anyone actually tested a prototype.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Coffee Maker Ever

We love French press coffee in this house. I got this as a gift and love it. Its' double walled so coffee stays nice while you brew it. Its light weight and the handle is comfortable to use. I also use it a a pitcher sometimes but don't tell anyone.

This press is the absolute best. I like that the handle is incorporated rather than in a holder, the double wall allows you to touch the outside of the press after pouring in the boiling water. The mechanism for the press is perfect and does not allow grounds to pass thru at all making the coffee so smooth and easy to drink. I would like to get another one, at some point because I also use the carafe, without the press, as a juice carafe. It looks so pretty with fresh squeezed OJ, iced tomato, or a green leafy juice straight from the juicer. Love them so much for that but really awesome coffee press!
