Really not so great. The poor over cone itself has a mesh that is not fine enough to sift out the mud that shows up on the bottom of the cup. And actually a larger problem is there is no indentation at the bottom of the cone to allow for coffee that comes out the side of the cone to drain into the cup. Because it’s flat, excess liquid drains onto the flat surface and then over the side of the filter. Every other design I’ve seen has an indentation by the holes that allows the excess coffee liquid to drain back into the cup.

It doesn't work as intended. Total waste of money. I threw it out and would appreciate a refund

“I grew up in the Colombian coffee mountains, and ever since then I’ve been chasing the taste of the real coffee I remember. This one brought it all back. I loved it so much, I ordered four—just in case they ever stop making it!
Obviously it's stainless and sits on a cup meaning no filters and less cleaning.
There are a few things that make this item particularly special. The first is the way the body connects to the top. It pops right off for easy cleaning. The second is the recessed non slip pad on the bottom which stays in place but is effortless to remove for deep cleaning. The third is the heft the base has which keeps it from tipping off the cup. The final thing is the general durability. Not only is it not breakable, but the screen is thick enough to that even tossing it into my 'stuff drawer' which always winds up with something twisted and jamming things around there are no dents in the screen.
Do fine grits/paste make it through. Yup. (shrug) Does oil make it through? Has not been noticeable. (shrug) Does the water go right through that screen? Yes if you pour fast but it's a non issue. Is it easy to clean? Extremely! Does the screen clog? No - even with abuse it cleans up easily.
In the past I have owned pourous ceramic filters - impossible to clean and delicate. I have owned glass and ceramic - break and hard to get filters. A metal vietnamese that felt cheap and a harrow which was huge. Meh.
Beautiful design and functions like a dream! I've used no-name pour over funnel type Coffee Dripper and they all had small openings at the bottom. This one has a large opening so the coffee can drip through, much faster but not too fast! I use recycled paper filters which pair wonderfully with this Zwilling Sorrento Pour Over Coffee Dripper. Made of stainless steel, the true flavor of my freshly ground coffee comes through every time. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to experience the joys of pour over coffee.
