Great vacuum sealer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this vacuum sealer because I was tired of throwing away food due to freezer burn or just going bad. The vacuum sealer is easy to use and keeps my food fresh longer. I have saved so much money by not having to throw food away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It came with 2 glass containers, and several plastic bags. The smaller glass leaks air. I put it in the refrigerator, after 10 mins the cap is open. I’ve tried many ways and it just happens like that. So I reduce one star for it. I don’t use the plastic bag much. Overall, it’s a good quality product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This system is a nice enhancement to glass based food storage I have moved to getting rid of plastic. The ability to keep food under vacuum provides longer storage therefore less waste. And the bags were the key to using my Ninja pressure cooking system for Sous-vide cooking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
