I really want to like this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the idea of preserving food and not using disposable plastic bags so I had to try this out. It had good reviews on the Food 52 website. I like the glass containers but they are pricey. My set came with a medium & large glass container and an assortment of the bags. I ordered 2 of the small glass containers extra thinking that would be my most used size. The small glass containers are very tiny so I will use them but not for anything other than something to take in my lunch bag. The medium and large glass containers are very useful and I have used them several times. I want to order more of them.
I wasn’t sure what I’d do with the bags but so far have used them for freezing pork chops & salmon (which I wrapped in plastic wrap first so I could keep the pieces separate and reuse the bags).
Last weekend I harvested rosemary sprigs and froze them in one of the small bags so I’m thinking of more uses as I use them and actually like them.
I don’t see myself using the bags for cooking but who knows? It is fun to use less bags and prevent wastage of food! Everything in my kit has worked like a charm and the charge seems to last a long time so I’m happy with this purchase.
