Excellent way to keep food fresh

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the vacuum boxes are glass. I prefer to use glass for food storage because of potential chemical leakage from plastics. And since these are oven-safe, I can go straight from freezer or fridge to oven or microwave without having to transfer the food.
The vacuum pump is quick and easy to use. I keep it on a shelf near the fridge. That way, whenever I access a box from the fridge, the pump is right at hand to quickly reseal the box. The pump takes up very little space and is so much more convenient than a seal-a-meal. So far, I have not experienced any loss of vacuum in any of the boxes. I use the sealable bags for sous-vide. They seal beautifully, and there are no leaks.
