[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great idea to keep food fresh. The Fresh and save will help keep pantry items fresh for longer and The vacuum bags are great in the freezer to keep freezer burn away on meats and also take up Less room in the freezer than a regular ziplock.

I've only had this for a few weeks. The vacuum sealer seems to do its job, and the glass containers appear to be very well made and good quality. I'm hopeful that the bags will hold up over the long term.

Great quality and good retention

I have purchased the Fresh & Save starter set and I must say it is a good product.
I accidentally left a bag next to the stove eye and the bag melted a little in the corner next to the zipper, but it still functions correctly (it closes fine and it's the part that doesn't touch food), if it was a normal plastic bag it would have turned into liquid immediately.
The pump has impressed me, I was vacuum sealing braised pork belly in a lot of soy sauce mix and accidentally sucked in quite a bit of soy sauce, all in all I managed to take the product apart entirely and clean it's insides, spectacularly the electronic parts were not covered in sauce at all which led to the device still functioning currently, so far after putting it back together it works as it should, but I am impressed with the design. The company could have designed it to make it break very easily like many others do nowadays, instead they focused on retention and even if it is a bit more expensive than others I would say it is a much better investment.
