Light, versatile knife - a great prep helper

this knife is incredibly sharp, well balanced and light in the hand - with a slight curve to the belly. The sharp point is handy for some detail work without switching knives, and a quick honing to the edges help me slice through tomatoes (skin on) with ease. The light weight and relatively short blade length (though is has a usefully deep surface area) makes it very ergonomic, to my preference. Great purchase, no regrets so far. Used frequently in the last 2 months.

This Bunka knife is quickly becoming my favorite. I replaced my many-years-old Santoku (another brand) with this knife hoping it would be comparable. It is perfect for most everyday tasks and has a nice sharp edge. It also has great balance and feels good in my sm/med hand. I have had it a couple of months and reach for it most of the time--love it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cons-After years of owning Pro S series knives it feels like a cheap knockoff.
