Fits snugly - Cuts smoothly

Professional S is terrific line of knives. They feature a traditional straight bolster and a slightly smaller handle. As a result they are a little lighter than the new Pro line. I have owned one of these knives for years almost 2 decades. It has performed year in and year out, and I cook a lot. I sharpen it maybe twice a year. I always hand-wash all my knives, even though they are dishwasher safe; that's probably why it looks almost new.
A 4-inch paring knife is a handy all around small knife. The additional inch you get vs. the traditional 3-inch paring is helpful in coring big luscious summer tomatoes, cucumbers and melon.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everyone needs a paring knife for the smaller jobs in the kitchen. Great for cutting small items, peeling potatoes, apples, hulling strawberries and mincing herbs and garlic cloves.
The Pro S is made in Germany and is made from Zwilling's special fomula steel which is easy to sharpen and holds on to an edge. Goes through the Friodur hardening process which makes the steel stronger and more resilient than other steels.
If you are looking for a durable, high quality knife, look no further. The Pro S fits the bill.

Great classic knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife has been a staple in my kitchen for years. I have had issues with the handles cracking but the warrenty department has always been very helpful.

Great blade handle not so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the blade- sharp and cuts anything! But the handle eventually cracked. Very disappointed. I did return and received a replacement but it took 9 months!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This knife is works well for paring but I love to use it to make decorative vegetable pieces like rose cumbers. It is made from German Special Formula Steel, also forged from one piece of steel so extremely durable. The knife is razor sharp, perfect for working on detailed projects.

The smaller blade makes it easier to get into tighter areas,like removing the oyster,legs,and running next to the keel bone,to remove the breast.
