Great upgrade to my standard honing steel with the 2 sides offered for further knife maintenance. I purchased the kramer chef knife and wanted to match it with this for upkeep and it maintains it very well between sharpenings. Also use it for my other knives, and it fits perfect in my knife bag without the handle loop others have

Extra Long Steel

I like that this is 12", the extra length allows a longer pull down distance so less strokes to accomplish the job. Handle is comfortable and doesn't slip from your hands.

This honing steel is fantastic if you have a knife that’s longer than eight or ten inches. The handle is very comfortable. It’s an easy way to keep your knife sharp and maintained
