I'd never had any idea of how to use one of these, so I watched a video. Now I don't have a dull knife in the house, from paring knife to machete. We'd always had a Zwilling knife and steel in the house as far as I remember. Mine didn't get the tag with the twins.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A sharpening steel is essential if you are investing in quality knives. This steel is easy to use and will maintain the edge and angle of your precious knives, keeping them from going dull. Use this at least once a month and your blades will stay sharp!

Hone to better your knife edge!

Its is good to hone your knife once in a while, for some once a week is part of their daily routine depending on the usage. Great 12" honing steel to fix, align and straighten knife edge for optimal sharpness.

A good honing steel really helps your knife edge last longer between sharpenings. Straightens the edge and takes away any burrs that have occured during use.

Honing steels are a necessary tool to maintain your blades in between sharpening. This steel has a nice solid handle and a loop to hang it up.
