It has all of the features I was looking for, such as an open-and-close crank and a tie that keeps it closed. It is easy for a senior to operate. It seamlessly fits into our little patio table set. We used a BCP umbrella stand, which we are also pleased with.

This umbrella is of high quality material and about the nicest I have seen including some resorts. The water filled base is very adequate for the 7.5 foot umbrella. We live on top of a windy hill and no problems so far.

I am really happy with my patio umbrella. It has held up well in the wind. My plants underneath it are thriving. Before they were not happy from all the intense sun.
It looks nice. My courtyard neighbors often remark how good it looks.

The size though is just not quite what I expected (my fault). I had no concept of the 7.5' size. Still should last a good while so that I will get my moneys worth.
